タイトルには「矢」「倉」「舌」「六つの貝」の判じ絵。
これは「矢倉下 向（やぐらした むかい）」と読み解け、
矢倉下の名妓「向（むかい）」を指しています。
江戸の粋な遊び心を感じる一作です。

From a bijin-ga series set in the Tatsumi district of Fukagawa, Edo. The title features a hanji-e (visual wordplay) combining images of an arrow (ya), a storehouse (kura), a tongue (shita), and six shells (kai), which can be read as “Yagurashita Mukai."
This refers to Mukai, a renowned courtesan, and reflects the refined wit and playful spirit of Edo culture.
