版元は具足屋嘉兵衛。このシリーズの成功によって、国周は明治期の役者絵における名手としての地位を確立しました。

こちらの作品は初期の豪華な厚奉書摺です。

From an untitled okubi-e series portraying leading kabuki actors, published by Gusokuya Kahei. The success of the series established Kunichika’s position as a leading master of actor prints in the Meiji period. An early deluxe impression, printed on thick paper.
